Gov. Umahi thanks APC, Buhari for conceding defeat in Ebonyi

The Governor of Ebonyi State, David Umahi, has thanked the All Progressives Congress, APC, for conceding defeat in the state even before the election.

The Governor claimed that immediately after the All Progressives Congress Presidential rally in Abakaliki the State capital on Wednesday, it becomes obvious that his reelection bid received the blessings and approval of all the opposition political parties particularly the APC.

In a statement to DAILY POST on Friday, by his Technical Assistant on Media, Monica Ada Chidinma Eze, Governor Umahi said it took much pleas from the National Chairman of APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole for Senator Sunny Ogbuoji the APC Flag -Bearer in Ebonyi to be recognized during the APC rally by most of the key political actors of the party in the State.

The statement continued, “It was a galore of celebration and victory dance throughout Ebonyi State on 30th January 2019 immediately after the All Progressives Congress Presidential rally in Abakaliki the State capital of Ebonyi State when it becomes obvious that Apostle Dr Dave Nweze Umahi the indefatigable Governor of Ebonyi State reelection bid received the blessings and approval of all the opposition political parties particularly the APC in Ebonyi State.
