D’banj is in the UK wrapping up his contribution to the GOOD Music album which is set to be released in the Spring of 2012. Last week Sunday, the Koko master dropped in to Choice FM studios and had a lengthy conversation with Max, which you can listen to below.
In addition to his Oliver Twist being video shot by Sesan in the UK, it appears that Oliver Twist is getting some serious airplay and several UK acts including Estelle, Skepta have jumped on the track. You can listen to the Skepta and Sneakbo versions of Oliver Twist below as well.
Part 1 – Talks about his beginnings in the UK when he used to work with Don Jazzy and JJC. Also, shares the story of how he met Kanye West in Dubai.
Part 2 – Gives his opinion on Sneakbo’s Oliver Twist version. He answers some calls from some Nigerian ladies who propose to him on air.
Part 3 – Talks about shooting the Oliver Twist video and the concept behind it. He also talks about the Oliver Twist competition and mentions that he reads all comments about him, but does not allow it affect how he operates. D’banj also talks about his other businesses.
b>Part 4 – D’banj talks about the removal of oil subsidy and that even though he supported Ebele during the campaign, he has no say on how he runs the country.
